“In time-space the individual describes a path within a situational context”  Torsten Hägerstrand

This duet emerged in response to the events of October 7th, 2023, and the war in Gaza, offering a pictorial description of the ground, a movement recording of an existential state.

The collision between lingering in difficulty and the instinct to move forward - to rebuild what was lost - brings to collapse and allows the body to take the lead in processing. The piece offers a pause: a moment to reflect and absorb the trauma before continuing the cycle of destruction and reconstruction.

The work raises questions about these recurring cycles that lie at the basis of the Israeli ethos, on the personal and social level.
