Texture

“Texture” is a community ensemble of women participants with and without disabilities, within the diverse fabric of Jerusalem life.

The creative process in this project begins with the perspective that each woman has carried her own body since the day she was born — and she is the foremost expert on that body.

"A Course of Life"


​1969 - Raised high on Amotz's shoulders.
1970 - Eating an orange on the steps of the Stern family's house.
1980 - Relaxing on a comfortable couch.
1985 - Holding onto the pole in the bus.
2011 - Leaning on the kitchen counter.
2016 - Midreshet Ben-Gurion. Smell of frying in the dining hall.
2023 - Walking around the house, turning.
2024 - Opening a new notebook, hardcover.
2025 - Evening. Sitting like a washerwoman, back to the window.
